Dog Tired Studio is owned and operated by Key West Artist Sean P. Callahan. His work captures the Florida Keys, pet portraiture, acrylic and watercolor collage which he refers to his Hemingway series. Sean does the paintings and then collages with stained text from Hemingway books on top of the paintings that reference his books. Sean also offers private watercolor lessons either one on one or up to six students. He teaches at the galleries usually on Tuesdays and at the Studios of Key West on Mondays January and February. Sean has been an instructor at the Studios of Key West for the past four years, has taught on Holland America as their Artist in Residence, and taught privately and in large groups over the past fifteen years.
